Hidden Gems: Meet Dejha Rose of Precise Beauty Lab

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dejha Rose.

Hi Dejha, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hi, my name is Dejha. I’m a 29-year-old spa owner. I didn’t start with a storefront or a big team. I started by traveling to clients’ homes to do prom makeup, carrying my kit everywhere and building my name one appointment at a time. I reinvested everything I earned until I could finally afford my own suite. That hustle eventually turned into Precise Beauty Lab—a space I’m incredibly proud of. My mom actually came up with the name, which makes it even more meaningful to me because it represents her legacy as well.
I grew up in the beauty industry, watching my mom own her own salons. Being around strong entrepreneurs from a young age shaped how I see the world. Seeing the discipline, the creativity, and the relationships she built with her clients showed me what was possible and inspired me to create something for myself.
Today, I specialize in ombré brows and makeup artistry, and my spa has grown into a one-stop space focused on skin and confidence. My goal has always been simple: when someone walks into my space, they should leave feeling better than they did when they arrived. Whether it’s because of our conversation or the service itself, I take pride in making sure everyone feels seen and beautiful.
As I’ve grown, so has my vision. After losing my mom to colon cancer, I saw how much health challenges can affect someone’s confidence and identity. That experience is what pushed me to pursue nursing. Long term, I want to own a medical spa where I can safely expand my services and support people with certain health conditions or those in remission. I want to bridge beauty and healthcare in a way that prioritizes safety, healing, and confidence—always with the proper medical oversight.
Between running the business, being a mom, and navigating nursing school, my life is a constant juggle. I make it a point to visit esthetician programs to speak to students about the real side of this journey, the setbacks and the small starts. I want them to see that you can build something meaningful, even if you have to start small.
At the end of the day, everything I do comes back to service and intention. I love what I do, and I truly care about the people who sit in my chair. Precise Beauty Lab isn’t just about services, it’s about the experience, professionalism, and growth. And I’m just getting started.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Navigating the loss of both my mom and my stepfather while trying to grow a business was incredibly heavy. In fact, I finished my esthetics hours the same week my mom passed away. Dealing with that grief while being a young mother and launching my career forced me to find a new kind of strength.
I’m in nursing school now, but back then, I was just trying to balance being present for my child with the ‘hustle’ of building my name. It hasn’t been easy, but those struggles are why I’m so intentional about my work. I want people to see that you can still build something meaningful even when life is throwing its worst at you.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Precise Beauty Lab?
Precise Beauty Lab is a one-stop space for skin and confidence. I specialize in ombré brows and makeup artistry, but I handle everything from facial waxing to skin treatments. If it involves making your skin look and feel its best, I’m on it.
What sets me apart is my ‘old school’ approach to customer service. I grew up in salons where relationships and professionalism were everything. In a time where great service is hard to find, I pride myself on giving my clients exactly what they pay for—a high-quality, intentional experience every time they sit in my chair.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Most people know me as an esthetician, but they might be surprised to know I’m currently back in school for my nursing degree. I’m not just doing it for the title; I’m doing it because I want to bring a clinical level of safety to the beauty world. My goal is to eventually specialize in helping people who have medical-related skin concerns, like those in remission.
