Today we’d like to introduce you to Tristian Webster.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Tristian. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My career started in Corporate America working for Atlanta’s Transit Authority (MARTA) as a Contract Administrator on one of their largest construction projects. As the project began to come to an end, so was my contract, and I was left with a big decision to make! I either had to find the next big construction project to jump on or take a leap of faith and start something of my own. That’s exactly what I did! With a little Ammo already unbeknownst to me, I had already begun to walk into my own light.
At MARTA, I was known as the weirdo who packed five meals and various snacks, toting a gallon of water around to every meeting… every day. One day one of my team members asked: “If I give you money, would you make double of the meals you make for yourself so that I can start to eat healthy like you?” One co-worker turned into two and so and so on… so I was compelled to want to start something that helped people to meet their fitness goals.
I already knew an amazing person that owns a Consulting and Branding Agency (The Choice Consulting), so I began there to get my logo website and so much more, and two weeks before the end of my contract with a fresh website on hand I spread the word amongst the team of my plans, two my two weeks of unused vacation and left corporate America…. that’s how Immaculate Meals was born.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. It’s never easy to take a leap of faith, it’s never comfortable stepping outside of your boundaries.
When I left Corporate America, I lost those co-workers that I had as clients and basically had to start fresh with brand new clientele. It was scary and not easy!
My advice to any young woman that wants to step outside of what’s comfortable or that social norm of the 9-5. Do it! Decide, Plan and Execute. Pay attention to the meat of that sandwich I just made… “Plan”, Save your money, have a cushion to fall back on because things won’t always immediately take off for your you… so be smart about… but most certainly follow your dreams.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Immaculate Meals – what should we know?
I prepare fresh, pre-packaged healthy meals for clients.
I help the person with a fitness, weight loss or weight gain goal.. to meet it. The person who works soo much and doesn’t have time to make meals for themselves every day but wants to remain health conscious, and let’s not forget that Bachelor who might not have a significant other to make sure he has a decent meal every day. That’s what I am most proud of. That I get to help and provide assistance to people and families and help them to crush their goals.
What sets me apart from others is that I customize, I try to meet the specific needs of my clients with what works for them in their taste bud range that they may not get on just a prefixed menu. I have a menu that changes weekly but that customization is what people love as well.
Which women have inspired you in your life?
Well, I wouldn’t have such a strong foundation in what I do without my Mom. Not only was she the master chef in my house growing up, but she’s a Board certified Nutritionist as well! My mom along with my dad is my biggest supporters.
I have such a strong family foundation that every woman in my family is amazing! My Aunt KK has instilled so much in me throughout the years of the importance of service and giving back, that if I can be even half of the humanitarian that she has been that I know I will at least have left some sort of imprint on this world.
My friends… it’s seven of us and we call ourselves the FAV 7! They inspire me every day! We’re all so different and everyone works so hard to achieve everything they want out of life, and they do just that! Life has handed each one of them a bunch of lemons and they’ve made THE BEST LEMONADE! We’re always motivating and challenging each other to go higher and be greater in every aspect of life.
