1Purpose Mime had humble beginnings, as a member of a breakdancing group in high school. Tragedy struck the group when his partner passed away from kidney failure. With those chains of events, 1Purpose Mime was born out of necessity. He quickly realized that performing was not about the stage, but about the audience.
Giving them a mirror, in which they can see themselves in his performances. He has been used by God to capture the hearts and minds of many, men, women, and children alike. His supporters are on a global scale, and the number continues to grow.
With 17 years of experiences, his accomplishments do not stop there; going on tour with Comedian Griff, performing for well-known names such, civil rights activist, Dr. C.T. Vivian, Judge Penny, Roland Martin; commentator for TV One, and award-winning poet, Hank Stewart.
Also to mention his most recent video colab with world-renowned dancer “Non-Stop. His performances include but are not limited to; concerts, weddings, shoe endorsements, as well as churches all over the United States. In closing, 1Purpose mime wants to thank all his fans and supporters all around the world. Thank you for all the love and continued support.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
When my dance partner passed. Early on it was tough getting the platform to share his gift. Not having a mentor to give guidance or a blueprint. Because his style of mime is different from the traditional mimes. 1Purpose was not accepted by the “mime” world.
