Today we’d like to introduce you to Ansleigh Rojas.
Hi Ansleigh, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up never imagining that photography would be my career, never even thought of it as an option! But in early middle school I got my first digital camera as a gift, and fell in love with taking photos. Throughout highschool I upgraded cameras a few times, but still never really considered myself a photographer. I just loved creating art! I grew up always wanting to create content and even had a YouTube channel.
Fast forward to my college days – I had just gotten my degree in marketing and started working full time at an office job, but I just felt so unfulfilled. I knew an office 9-5 was not for me. So I started posting my work, offering free shoots, and eventually business picked up enough for me to quit!
I have been so blessed over the past few years in this business and have been so grateful that this is my career. Although busy season can be over whelming, I’m finally living the dreams I had when I started my business just a few years ago.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I wouldn’t say it’s been a smooth road, it was hard just to do free shoots. I would ask my coworkers to model for me, and took a lot of photos of coffee all the time! I’m now in a place I never thought I’d be 🙂
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a photographer based in North Georgia, and I specialize in families, couples, and branding for local businesses! I have also recently started creating reels & video content for business as well!
The more I photograph, the more I realize how rewarding it truly is. Seeing faces light up as I show them how the session is going, getting messages about happy tears when galleries are sent out, and capturing memories that cannot be recreated.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I would say my success has really been driven by my customer service, always showing up with a smile & being adaptable! Additionally, the hopes and dreams I’ve had for my family have kept me driven!
