Today we’d like to introduce you to Goodness Sart.
Hi Goodness, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey in media and communications began with a deep-rooted passion for using my voice as a tool for inspiration, education, and transformation. Over the past 3-4 years, with the last year marking my full professional immersion, I have embraced media as more than a career—it’s a divine calling that aligns with my commitment to fostering meaningful connections and driving positive change.
Starting with my early venture, Future Broadcasting Network, I produced high-quality gospel shows, reflecting my faith-driven mission to impact lives spiritually and socially. This experience laid the foundation for my growth, leading me to collaborate with esteemed media houses like Tamma TV and KMTV. These opportunities honed my skills in corporate communications, event hosting, talk show facilitation, and voice-over artistry, equipping me to launch my own brand, ABBA’s Media Girl.
Through ABBA’s Media Girl, I deliver exceptional event compering and communication services across corporate, gospel, and social sectors, engaging thousands of audience members with excellence and integrity. My vision is to be a transformative voice in the media landscape, empowering others to embrace their purpose while fostering impactful conversations. Grounded in my faith, I strive to inspire and connect, leaving a lasting legacy of integrity and excellence in every sphere I touch.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
My journey in the media and communications field has been rewarding but far from smooth, marked by challenges that have shaped my resilience and growth. As a young woman carving my path alone, I’ve faced hurdles that many young women in this dynamic industry might encounter.
One significant struggle was building credibility in a competitive field. Starting with limited resources and connections, I had to work tirelessly to prove my skills as a media personality and event compere. Like many young women navigating this space solo, I often faced skepticism about my expertise due to my age and gender, and also nationality, requiring me to consistently deliver excellence to earn trust.
Financial constraints were another hurdle. Investing in equipment, branding, and professional development while managing daily expenses was daunting, a common challenge for young women building careers independently. There were moments of self-doubt, particularly when juggling demanding schedules which can feel amplified when you’re young and navigating the industry without family backing.
Yet, these challenges strengthened my resolve to use my voice authentically, inspiring others through ABBA’s Media Girl to embrace their purpose with excellence.
Despite these obstacles, each struggle taught me perseverance, adaptability, and the power of faith, shaping me into a media catalyst committed to transforming lives through communication.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
As a media and communications specialist, my work revolves around harnessing the power of media to inspire, educate, and connect diverse audiences. Through my brand, ABBA’s Media Girl, I specialize in event compering, corporate communications, talk show facilitation, and voice-over artistry, serving sectors like the corporate world, gospel industry, and social events. I’m known for my ability to captivate audiences with authenticity, professionalism, and a faith-driven approach. Whether moderating panels, hosting gospel events, or delivering corporate communications, I bring excellence and integrity to every role. My early venture, Future Broadcasting Network, focused on producing high-quality gospel shows, and my collaborations with media houses like Tamma TV and Bosss TV have solidified my reputation as a versatile communicator.
I’m most proud of launching ABBA’s Media Girl, a platform that embodies my vision to be a transformative voice in Liberia’s media landscape. Building this brand from the ground up, while overcoming resource constraints and skepticism as a young woman, has been a testament to resilience and faith.
What sets me apart is my unwavering commitment to integrity and my faith-driven mission to use media as a tool for positive change. Unlike others, I blend spiritual purpose with professional excellence, creating meaningful connections that resonate across corporate, spiritual, and social spheres. My ability to adapt across roles—whether as a compere, communicator, or catalyst for change—combined with my passion for empowering others, distinguishes me in the media field.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
The quality most critical to my success is my unwavering faith, which fuels my resilience and commitment to excellence. As a young media personality in my early 20s navigating the industry alone, my faith in God has been my anchor, guiding me to approach every role—whether event compering, corporate communications, with integrity and purpose. This faith-driven mindset empowers me to overcome challenges like skepticism and resource constraints, stay true to my values in a competitive field, and inspire audiences with authenticity. It’s this blend of spiritual conviction and dedication to impactful communication and a proof of excellence that drives my success and sets me apart.
