Hi Listiani, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started creating content during the end of 2019 and with the pandemic, I became more active in taking the collaborations with brands. I am always passionate about trying new things and always love to share with others about the products I love, use, and also I truly believe in. My Instagram @linacapturelife comes straight from my heart. The community here means the world to me and I honestly don’t know what I would do without it. Starting from less than 5000 followers to where I am now is such an unbelievable process. I know that just like other content creators, I do love what I am doing but there are some days that it is so difficult especially making time between mom’s life, collaborations and also our family business but again, I will always be here as long as my followers enjoy my contents. Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Oh, certainly not always a smooth way. Just like any other job. Content creator is not always looking fun, cute, flashy; as we are normal people too with messy homes sometimes and lots of unfinished laundry. As a full-time mom, restaurateur (we own Mulan Cascade, Chin Chin, Gracie Barra South Forsyth, Prime Combat Sports, Ben’s Crab Seafood and Bar) and also as a content creator is not always a smooth way. I would say time management is the biggest struggle along the way. Creating content is not something that is just “looking pretty or nice” but how the product/brand is truly relatable to me and how can I introduce it to my followers and trust me, it is time-consuming to come with reading contracts, negotiating with brands, drafting ideas, creating photo/video, and finally have it posted. Then with new updated algorithm and so on, it is not always easy for content creators like us too. Sometimes it’s just tough to meet the deadline, not to mention if we are stucked with ideas.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
My passion and all the dedication I give into each job given to me and my inner passion for travel, trying new recipes, fashion, skincare and make-up, and wellness products.
