Check Out Ziere Bryant’s Story

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Ziere Bryant.

Ziere Bryant

Ziere, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’m a self-taught independent artist in the 10th year of my journey.

I started making music on Christmas break of ninth grade after getting expelled from Stockbridge HS. I’m from a small town in Maryland called Chestertown, Maryland; I pride myself on my versatility and ability to adapt to anything about music and life in general.

We all face challenges, but would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, the first few years of my journey I was still in high school so whilst I managed to hone my skills and build a fanbase I was still going through the motions of being a child & not able to fully take my career by the reins.

After high school graduation, my immediate family got hooked on drugs, so from that point on, I had to put my career on the back burner and make sure everyone survived. While handling those issues, I taught myself how to record mix and master so I would never have to depend on anyone else to create; as of the last 2-3 years, I’ve been rebuilding my base, and everything is looking up.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe you can tell us more about your work next?
I’m an artist/musician known as “ZI3RE” I specialize in rapping but pride myself in my ability to utilize any genre of music. Aside from being an artist on the come-up, I also built a reputation for myself by offering many services to other local artists.

I was very early on the whole “streaming” boom & made a lot of associates by way of distribution/aggregation to streaming services mixtape sites, cover art creation, photography & videography. Nowadays, I also advertise as an audio engineer as I was able to build my studio within my residence (& no, not a mic in a closet, lol).

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I’m not a big believer in luck when it comes to “good luck.” I believe you get the opportunities you work for & as far as “bad luck,” I believe some of us become subject to circumstances that aren’t in our favor, but I don’t believe it to be left up to any type of predestined coin toss if that makes sense.
