Today we’d like to introduce you to Daryl Feagins II.
Hi Daryl , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
A creative and unconventional thinker with a passion for leadership, community service, music and real estate, I began my journey at a young age, embracing a love for sports and home decor that shaped my unique perspective. With a background as a league champion in basketball and a black belt in karate, I found fulfillment not just in playing, but in coaching and mentoring others. My academic journey at Troy University ignited my entrepreneurial spirit, leading me to found an organization promoting community service through basketball, where I successfully assisted young athletes in securing scholarship opportunities. A subsequent transfer to the University of Alabama reignited my passion for real estate and music, as I immersed myself in studying properties, design and I pinned two song as a writer for fairly popular artists. After moving to Atlanta in 2013, I gained invaluable insights from notable figures in the industry, like Kandi Burruss, learning the importance of pursuing diverse income streams that align with my creative vision. This journey, although marked by personal challenges, ultimately led me to foster a desire to empower underprivileged youth through sports and education, particularly those from challenging backgrounds. In 2025, following significant life changes, including the diagnosis of my son with Autism, I recognized the need for a supportive environment and relocated to Gwinnett County. Embracing this new chapter, I completed my real estate education with Kaplan College and launched the Dreamers Success Association (DSA), which focuses on providing scholarships and support for youth from single-parent homes, foster care, and juvenile detention centers. Through my podcast, “The Serial Dreamer,” I amplify the stories of those pursuing their dreams, while also developing a casual wear brand, “Secure Your Dream.” My goals include achieving $2 million in commissions within the next two years, while sending at least 100 youth to college or trade school. With an unwavering commitment to both my professional aspirations and community impact, I am driven to make a significant difference in the lives of young individuals, proving that dreams can be deferred but not denied.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The hardest challenge I’ve faced along this journey has always been my own confidence and my ability to understand the direction God is leading me. This is especially true when it comes to welcoming foster children or kids from troubled backgrounds into my home. It’s a unique calling that not everyone supports, and until I moved back to Atlanta this year, I often felt isolated in my commitment.
