Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My Wife Becky and I met in hairstyling school, soon after graduation going to work in the same salon where we purchased the business and soon after purchased our own building in the Buckhead area of Atlanta and changed the name to Cuts Inc. At that time, we were a full service salon for men and women and doing everything from electrolysis to hair loss, cuts and color. Several years later we became the first Men’s Hair Styling Salon in Atlanta specializing in Men’s Hair Styling, Hair Loss and Hair Color.
After four decades of experience in hair loss that lead us to starting our own e commerce company Biotin Xtreme Hair Care where we manufacture our own natural plant based hair care and hair loss products in our FDA approved lab. After years of experience in retail we understood the real growth for our products business would be online. We set up Biotin Xtreme Hair Care to market our product line on four online platforms including Shopify, Amazon, Walmart and eBay.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Biggest struggles for most hair care, businesses is the employees. After years of retail we decided to focus on a Mens Cut Color and Hair Loss business and create the e commerce business with our hair loss line. The addition of the e commerce business was a big jump forward. Developing the product line took several years which was tough but rewarding. Then setting up manufacturing, warehousing and distribution was another difficult undertaking. but finally getting the e commerce starting by driving traffic to our site www.biotinxtreme.com, first then adding Amazon and Walmart was looking back the correct way to go for us.
