Today we’d like to introduce you to Jay Rose
Hi Jay, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
So I am an artist/rapper, and I started about 4 years ago and haven’t stopped ever since. I also create content (food reviews, videos to promote my music, funny videos, pictures, etc. I always loved and had a good ear for music. I started writing poems and songs in highschool just for myself in my notes. It wasn’t until maybe 2 years after I graduated where I actually went to the studio and made an actual song. Once I realized I sound good not only to myself but to other people it was up from there! I rap about things I’ve been through, things other people been through, and manifest things that I wanna go through. My career has been going good however, I’m not where I want to be but the more consistent I am the more I will keep growing and the closer I will get to where I wanna be!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My career has been I say 50/50. I say that because if I’m consistent I see results but if not I stay stagnate. It’s hard to do something you love to do but doesn’t pay the bills just yet. Things aren’t like they were back in the day, before you could just make songs/videos and that was it now you have to create content and it’s just hard when you don’t really have the time or motivation for it.

I am an artist, I specialize in music like hip hop/R&B. I am known for making music that touches people soul and motivating them to do better in life and know they are not alone. I am most proud of the fact that God has given me a purpose in life and I have every chance to make that come to life everyday that I wake up. When people tell me to keep going, you’re going to make it, it motivates me to stay consistent and have faith.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I feel like the realness and quality in my music is very essential to my success because if they can’t feel you or feel like they can’t relate or believe what you’re saying then you’re not going or make it very far.
