Hi Monica, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Absolutely I’ve always been a creative soul. Even as a child, I found joy in working with my hands—drawing, crafting, and making heartfelt gifts like stepping stones and paper mâché for my mom when i was little lol. I loved watching her face light up when she received something I made for her with love. That joy has never left me.

As I grew older, I discovered a deep love for scents—aromas, perfumes, oils. I’d mix different fragrances just to see what beautiful essence I could create. Smelling good became part of who I am—an expression of self-love and presence.

One day, during some quiet time of journaling, manifesting, and self-reflection, I realized I could combine my love for scent, creativity, and working with my hands into something special: handmade body butter. I started crafting my own shea butter blends, infusing them with tropical aromas and all the love and care I’ve always put into my art.

Now, I’m building a business from that passion—something that represents me and what I love. When people open a jar of my butter and their face lights up at the scent, that’s everything to me. I believe in this journey, and I know I’m going far—because I’m doing what I love, with love.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing meaningful happens overnight, and this journey has definitely had its challenges—but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. This business isn’t just something I do; it’s a part of who I am. It reflects my growth, my creativity, and my commitment to turning vision into reality.

It all started one day in my mom’s garage. After months of overthinking, doubting, and holding myself back, I finally decided to just try. That one step led to something real—my own small business, handcrafted with purpose and passion.

Starting from scratch hasn’t been easy. It takes discipline, consistency, and a whole lot of faith. But every jar I make, every scent I blend, and every smile I see when someone tries my products reminds me why I’ll never give up. I believe this will take me far—because I’m building it with love, and I’m building it to last.
