Today we’d like to introduce you to Raven Cenales.
Hi Raven, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been drawing for years & I grew an interest in getting tattoos shortly after I graduated high school. My mid-twenties is when I picked up the art of tattooing. I’ve been growing my clientele ever since.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It was not easy when I first picked up a tattoo machine. I basically taught myself everything I know while also maintaining a full-time retail job. I started out having maybe 3-4 clients a month to now having 2-5 clients a day!

I’m a tattoo artist that loves tattooing faces & roses. I could never get tired of a nice realism rose, and whenever I get booked to do a face of some sort, I always show out. I would say that I’m known for producing clean work. I always work extra hard to make sure my line work is as precise as possible. I’m most proud at the fact that I am self-taught & my clients who’ve been following me ever since I started can really see how far I’ve come. They always congratulate me & that’s what keeps me going the most.
How do you define success?
I define success as reaching financial freedom & building a career off of something you enjoy doing the most!
