Hi Gina, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
The journey of Live Music Junkiez started with my deep-rooted love for live music. As an avid concert-goer, I found myself attending live music events several times a week, driven by a relentless desire to discover new artists and enjoy live performances. My passion for finding good music led me to spend hours researching events on various websites and social media platforms.
Often, I would find myself at intimate live music events with only a handful of attendees. I began recording these performances and sharing them with my friends and coworkers, who were consistently impressed by the talent I unearthed. Their frequent question, “How do you find such great music?” highlighted a gap.
I decided to create a platform to make the discovery process easier for others like me. Live Music Junkiez was born! What started as a simple initiative to promote free local events has evolved into a multi-platform community, showcasing local and touring artists from around the world! Live Music Junkiez is dedicated to making it easier for music lovers to find and enjoy great live performances.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’m a HUGE music junkie, but not someone with a background in the music industry. Being a newcomer poses a unique set of challenges but also gives me a unique perspective. I started this platform because of my passion for live music and that continues to be a primary goal today.
Also, over time I discovered that managing an ever-expanding roster of events, venues, and artists would become a monumental task (equivalent to a second job), so I’ve had to learn to hire people to support the cause, which is a challenge for someone very independent such as myself.

Live Music Junkiez is a dynamic social media platform and website committed to amplifying Atlanta’s vibrant music scene while fostering community support for music venues and artists. This platform offers THE LARGEST list of concerts and live music events across the Metropolitan Atlanta area – over 200 every week! In addition to a daily curated list of concerts, we offer insights into upcoming festivals, free events, open mics, and happenings throughout Atlanta. We also showcase talented artists and provide regular concert ticket giveaways.

Most people who know Live Music Junkiez don’t realize it was started by one single female. Most assume it is run by a group of guys. I’ve had many occasions of shocked faces when I introduce myself. It’s quite funny.
