As the founder of India Sage Media Agency (ISMA), my journey is one of passion, purpose, and professional evolution. With a background in media, I initially embarked on a career path focused on storytelling and communication. However, as I delved deeper into the realm of media and communications, I recognized the transformative power of branding and its ability to shape perceptions, drive engagement, and effect change.
This realization led me to pivot from media to communications and eventually to the creation of ISMA—a boutique agency dedicated to empowering brands and business owners to realize their full potential. At ISMA, our mission goes beyond traditional marketing; we believe in the power of holistic brand management that encompasses strategic planning, creative storytelling, and impactful communication.
Our tagline, “Leading Brands Forward,” encapsulates our commitment to guiding our clients towards success in an ever-changing landscape. One aspect of our work that is particularly close to my heart is our philanthropic efforts. From offering pro bono services to non-profit organizations to spearheading branding initiatives for community-driven projects, we are committed to using our expertise to make a positive impact in the world. I’m India Sage Williams, the strategic visionary behind India Sage Media Agency. As a former award-winning journalist turned entrepreneur, I’m dedicated to unlocking the potential of individuals and businesses. Through inspiring storytelling and strategic communication, I empower others to embrace their inner strength and develop forward-thinking strategies for success.
My journey hasn’t been easy—from idea to execution, I’ve faced challenges and transitions. While managing a 9-5 seemed simpler, my passion for serving others led me to full time entrepreneurship. Starting as a partner in a creative brand design company, I eventually founded ISMA, a brand development, communications, research, design, and tech agency.
With a background in Mass Communication and a knack for brand strategy, I identified a need in the market and provided a solution. Quality customer service became our core value, guiding our growth and success. Despite life’s twists and turns, I’ve learned the importance of transparency and sharing my journey as an entrepreneur to inspire others.

Our agency collectively addresses both professional and personal development needs, drawing from diverse expertise and experiences. In addition to our core services at ISMA, I’m excited to announce that I’ll be hosting a talk radio show on WDRB Media. This show, titled “Power In You Radio,” is set to launch in summer 2024. It’s a journey of discovery and transformation, where we’ll share insights, conduct interviews, and provide actionable advice from high level experts to help listeners unleash their inner power.
Furthermore, my agency is thrilled to announce our “Build a Brand” tour, an initiative aimed at empowering entrepreneurs through practical workshops and discussions. These workshops dive deep into essential aspects of branding, communication, and business development, providing attendees with valuable guidance and tools to elevate their lives and brands. Our tour is set to visit various cities, kicked off in North Carolina; next up is, Wilmington, Delaware, where we’ll be hosting our workshop at the peer space, Haute The Studio, on May 19, 2024. Stay tuned for updates on our upcoming tour stops, including Atlanta in August and additional states soon. We’re committed to expanding our reach and impact, empowering entrepreneurs worldwide.
Additionally, our “Rebuild Your Life and Brand” workshops in partnership with Certified Family Life Educator and Confidence Coach, Cheris Monique, offers comprehensive support beyond traditional business tactics. These workshops delve into critical areas of life that impact an entrepreneur’s journey, providing guidance on personal development, work-life balance, mental health, and more. We believe in addressing the holistic needs of entrepreneurs to foster sustainable success and fulfillment.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Balancing being a hands-on mom and a driven business owner has been quite the rollercoaster for me. Every day feels like a tightrope walk between managing my family’s needs and running my business. It’s a constant juggle that often demands tough choices and some serious multitasking skills.
Through this journey, I’ve realized that everyone—not just entrepreneurs but individuals, executives, leaders, and change agents alike—faces their own set of challenges. Whether it’s finding work-life balance, dealing with stress, or pursuing personal growth, we all need support that goes beyond just the professional realm.
So, my mission is to provide that kind of comprehensive support. I want to see more people not just surviving but thriving in every aspect of their lives.
