Hidden Gems: Meet Amy Fuchs of InFocusPlus

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amy Fuchs

Hi Amy, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey with InFocusPlus began with a deep appreciation for unique spaces and a passion for connecting people to the right environment—whether for filming, corporate stays, or short-term housing. With a background in real estate and a keen eye for properties that tell a story, I saw an opportunity to bridge the gap between property owners and the entertainment industry, traveling professionals, and production teams.

I launched InFocusPlus to create a seamless platform where location scouts, filmmakers, and short-term tenants could discover distinctive properties that perfectly fit their needs. From historic estates and modern penthouses to hidden-gem filming locations, we’ve curated a diverse portfolio that brings both creativity and convenience to our clients.

Our approach is all about service, innovation, and adaptability—understanding the ever-evolving needs of the entertainment and rental markets. Today, InFocusPlus is a trusted resource for productions, corporate travelers, and property owners alike, and I’m incredibly proud of the impact we’ve made in this space.

At the heart of it all, I love what I do—helping people find the perfect setting for their stories, whether on-screen or in real life.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not a smooth road—but every challenge has shaped InFocusPlus into what it is today. When we first started, there was no real infrastructure for connecting the entertainment industry with unique filming locations or short-term housing for cast and crew in the Atlanta area. We were essentially building something from scratch, convincing property owners that their homes could be valuable assets for production while also assuring industry professionals that we could provide the right spaces, hassle-free. Gaining inventory was a slow process at first, but through persistence and strong relationships, we built a network that has become a go-to resource in the Atlanta and Gwinnett areas.

Another major challenge was splitting from a loved business partner, which was both an emotional and professional hurdle. It forced me to redefine my vision for InFocusPlus, and ultimately, it made the company stronger and more aligned with its core mission.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
InFocusPlus is a premier location and housing service tailored to the entertainment industry. We connect filmmakers, production teams, and traveling professionals with high-quality, curated properties for both filming and short/mid-term furnished stays. Whether it’s a one-of-a-kind estate for a feature film, a modern loft for a commercial shoot, or a comfortable furnished rental for cast and crew on the move, we make it easy to find the perfect space.

What sets us apart is our deep understanding of both the real estate and entertainment industries combined with our dedication to provide unmatched customer service. We don’t just list properties—we actively curate, scout, and match locations based on a project’s needs. We have a vast reach through our Real Estate Network and deep connections within our communities. Our network of properties is extensive and diverse, from luxury estates to unique urban settings, secluded retreats, and even unconventional spaces like warehouses and junkyards.

We take pride in the seamless experience we provide to production teams—we know that time is money in this industry, so we handle the logistics efficiently and professionally. Our white-glove approach, industry connections, and deep-rooted expertise make us the go-to resource for location managers and production teams looking for effortless, high-quality solutions.

Most of all, we’re proud of the trust we’ve built with our clients and the role we play in bringing creative visions to life.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
The biggest piece of advice I can give to new entrepreneurs is be adaptable and resilient—things will not always go as planned, but your ability to pivot and problem-solve will determine your success.

When I started InFocusPlus, there was no clear infrastructure for what we were trying to build. We had to create a market, educate clients, and build trust from the ground up. If you’re starting something new or filling a gap in an industry, know that it will take time, patience, and persistence.

Another key lesson? Relationships matter. Your network will be your greatest asset—build strong connections, nurture them, and always operate with integrity. People remember how you made them feel, and in industries like entertainment and real estate, your reputation is everything.

I also wish I had known how much mindset plays a role in success. There will be challenges—unexpected hurdles, disappointments, and even moments where you want to quit. But if you stay focused on your “why” and remain passionate about your vision, you’ll find a way forward.

Lastly, don’t be afraid to ask for help. Find mentors, surround yourself with like-minded people, and don’t try to do everything alone. The journey is always better when you have the right people alongside you.
