Hi James, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
After graduation from Auburn University in 2001, I moved to Atlanta and started a career in sales. After 10 years of inside and outside sales, I was offered an opportunity with a small boutique brokerage in Midtown focused on high rise condos. I immediately loved working with people to find their dream homes. After building a small following in the condo market I branched out into single family homes and multiple family buildings. In 2018 I was recruited by the owner of Engel & Völkers Atlanta and became a founding agent with them and have found an incredible home with them! Our company is one of the top brokerages in the Atlanta marketplace.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Real Estate is one of the most misunderstood industries out there! There have been tons of struggles along the way and setbacks however with persistence, patience, and hard work I have been able to accomplish a lot of business. It’s all about trying to put yourself in the shoes of your clients and communication is definitely key! If you can’t empathize with both the Buyer and the Seller while managing expectations then you’re in the wrong business. We advise people on major life choices that most only do once or twice in their lifetimes. It can be very high stress but managing it is very important to succeed.
