Hi Ousman & Kebba, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
So we started detailing in 2022 right after we graduated from college. We did that because as a college student, being in the job force didn’t seem like it was for us. We had many jobs from warehouses, delivery driving, food, freezer work, and even landscaping. Now these aren’t bad jobs honestly but we had no passion for any of it, which made it too easy to quit. And that’s exactly what we did. We realized that for us to enjoy being at work it had to be something that we were passionate about. Entrepreneurship was perfect, before we would have leads and managers but now it’s all up to us. Don’t get me wrong it is not easy at all being an entrepreneur, a successful one at that, but now to us, we are just doing what we love which is taking care of and providing value to people. That’s what got us to where we are today and we are so thankful for all of it, the ups, the downs, everything. Another key factor that helped was that this was our only way out, of course, we have degrees but our goal is to be financially free and be able to support, take care of, and pay back our families for all they have done. This was the only way that we saw to do it, and from that point on we knew what we wanted now it’s time to make it happen.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely has not been a smooth road but that adds to the journey. One struggle that we dealt with and still do is doubt. It’s inevitable someone will always doubt you if you’re trying to do something that most don’t or cannot do. Whether it’s from your family, best friend or online, you have to tune it out and remember your plan and goals. No one can see your vision and it’s up to you to create it!

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
The pandemic, showing us how quickly the world can change, was another major influence on our starting our business. We learned that nothing is guaranteed, especially jobs. A lot of people, including us, lost their jobs. This made us want to be self-employed because it seemed better in the long run.
