Today we’d like to introduce you to Thomas Lykes.
Hi Thomas, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
It started when I first moved to Atlanta. Creating has always been a passion, growing up watching like artists/ creatives like Beyoncé, Prince, Michael, and Naomi. Creating their art so beautifully and be authentically themselves . I’ve always been interested in creating and always been timid but I went through hardships that shaped me and pushed to go after what I want and how I envision myself. Modeling, acting, dancing and singing has always been my passions and what I strive for. I didn’t have everything figured out, and I still don’t have everything figured out, but I knew I wanted to grow, so I started taking small, consistent steps — whether that was learning on my own, taking opportunities others overlooked, or putting in extra effort when it mattered.
Along the way, I faced challenges that forced me to adapt, get more resourceful, and really double down on what I wanted. I leaned into consistency and sobriety to allow me to focus and that became a turning point. Over time, those choices started compounding, and that’s what brought me to where I am today — still learning, but with more clarity, confidence, and momentum than when I started.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No it has not been a smooth ride. Lately I’ve been struggling to focus and lock in but now I’m regaining my focus and everything to God. Remembering to give myself Grace and keep the faith.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I predominately model and that’s been avenue to know my look and what works for me. My specialty is my walk. I know I have a strong confident walk even though I may not be requirement height for the runway I will most certainly eat it up. Im recently known my work in modeling and the content I’ve posted. I what I am most proud of is owning my look and being myself. Having confidence. Im only getting better with my craft and locking back in. I have so many creative ideas that I’m ready to reveal. What sets me apart from others is my spirit, my character, personality, and intelligence. I know I have an an amazing aura that is gravitating. I have couple businesses that I’m going to begin to venture and do be on the lookout for that.
How do you think about luck?
I don’t really believe in luck. I give everything to God and the way he’s moved in my life before I know he will do it again. Im giving everything to him. He’s opened so many opportunities by just giving everything to him . With being signed to agency and all the shoots. Im re aligning myself so that I can refocus and reground myself.
