Today we’d like to introduce you to Alice Borders and Monroe Baker.

Hi Alice and Monroe, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
From as young as I could remember, music has always been my escape. After going through a really bad breakup, I started writing more than just poetry; I put it into music form. And whenever people heard my music they didn’t just love my voice they love that they had music that they could relate to 100% so I started writing not only for myself but for other people and their emotions

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all, lol. I didn’t always have the most self-confidence or thought I was good enough. So Not only was the battle with getting into the music industry difficult to get into by itself. I had to fight with my own thoughts.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a writer. I write everything From music and poetry to short stories. Basically, anything that gets the emotions out, I write about it

I love the opportunity for all people but I can’t lie being from New York I miss the city life.
