Meet Isaiah Holt

Today we’d like to introduce you to Isaiah Holt.

Hi Isaiah, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started off as a dancer. I started dancing around 10th grade at my high school in Parkview Arts & Magnet high in Little Rock, Arkansas. I was doing viral dances such as the Name Name, Hit Them Folks, & things of that nature. After high school, I went to college for only one semester before being called to go on tour with Future as a background dancer. I toured with the future from 2017-2018. After being on tour in the atmosphere of a real artist, I began to soak up the knowledge of the things that were around me, such as the stage presence of Future, his recording process and much more. It was at the middle of 2018 when I began to actually want to try rapping. Everyone always told me to do so, but I always brushed it off. I dropped two singles in April 2018 & July 2018. It wasn’t until my third single in October 2018 titled “All In” when the buzz really started to kick in. That song is my most streamed song till this day. Fast forward to 2022, I am now a solo artist and I currently have dropped 3 singles that have taken off, ” All My Might” “ASMR” & my most recent single “GTTM”. Now I’m just pressing the gas to establish myself as a solo artist which is definitely going well for me.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, there’s no such thing as a smooth road. Some of the things I struggled with throughout my career have been things like wanting to switch up on the fans with the music, not giving them the real ZAE. It comes to a point in every artist’s career where they feel like they have something to prove. When I came in the game, I had nothing to prove, I was just Zae, having fun with this. I started to move away from what really makes Zae, ZAE! I had long talks with myself and came back to reality with myself before I started my solo career. Now I am back to that Zae the people love, ZAEHD! That’s really the only thing I can say that I struggled with; everything else is pretty cool for the most part.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
It’s so much that I do. I am an artist, dancer, content creator, director, engineer, producer, and executive producer it’s not a lot that I don’t do on the creative side of the world. I could work for a table and make people content for them. I come up with great promo ideas & strategies. But I’m most known for my music, & dancing. The thing I am most proud of THESE days is how good my solo career is going. To come out of a group and prove that you can do it on your own is a big big big accomplishment. A lot of people can’t do that. What sets me apart from others is, I’m just Zae. I don’t try to be like anyone, my music doesn’t sound like anyone else I’m just me. Some of the things I do aren’t “cool” to people until I make it work then it gets “cool” you know? So I do what others wouldn’t do cause I’m Zae.

How do you define success?
I truthfully & honestly don’t believe in success. I do believe in it but at the same time, it’s always work to do. You can always be more than you are, work never stops.
