Meet Jermey Robinson of Hapeville GA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jermey Robinson.

Hi Jermey , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started The IT Factor Podcast back in 2019, originally featuring tech professionals. But as the show began to grow, so did the vision. After countless conversations with my now wife, my mom, and close friends, we decided to open the platform to guests from all professions and walks of life.

Now, seven years and almost 300 guests later, I’m truly grateful for how far this journey has come — creating a space for people to share their stories, inspire others, and spread positivity. My prayer is to continue making a real impact and changing the narrative with every guest who steps behind the mic. 🎙️

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Some of the biggest obstacles along the way were learning how to manage scheduling — balancing my guests’ availability with my own — and handling last-minute cancellations. Over time, I also had to refine my outreach approach, figuring out what methods worked best for connecting with both everyday professionals and well-known guests.

Through that process, I was inspired to write my book, The Art of Networking: An IT Factor Memoir, which outlines how I built genuine connections, grew my platform, and turned a simple idea into a thriving brand. Every challenge became a lesson that helped shape the podcast — and me — into what we are today.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m the creator and host of The IT Factor Podcast, a platform dedicated to sharing authentic and inspiring stories from individuals across all walks of life — from athletes and entertainers to entrepreneurs, educators, and everyday professionals making a difference. What started as a small project focused on tech professionals has evolved into a storytelling brand built around purpose, connection, and impact.

I specialize in creating meaningful conversations that highlight the human side of success — the perseverance, faith, and lessons behind each journey. I’m most proud of how the podcast has grown organically over the past seven years, featuring nearly 300 guests while maintaining the same mission: to uplift, educate, and inspire.

What sets me apart is my genuine curiosity and ability to make guests feel comfortable enough to share their real stories. It’s not just about the achievements — it’s about discovering their IT factor — the unique qualities that drive who they are and what they do. That authenticity, combined with my background in tech and storytelling, allows me to connect dots between passion, purpose, and impact in a way that truly resonates with listeners.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Something surprising that people may not know about me is that through The IT Factor Podcast, I’ve truly learned the power of listening. Hosting the show has taught me how meaningful it is to really hear people — their journeys, struggles, and triumphs.

I’ve grown to love listening and helping others share their stories in a way that reminds them their voice matters. That’s been one of the most rewarding parts of this entire journey — not just talking to guests, but connecting with them on a deeper, more human level.
