Today, we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Harley. Michelle was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Breanna Powell.
Michelle, thank you so much for joining us today. We’d love for you to bring our readers up to speed – can you introduce yourself and share your story?
Im Michelle Harley, Owner of Harley Happy Hour Mobile Bartending Services. I went to bartending school in Jan 2020 in hopes to get a part time job bartending at sports arenas/special events for additional income. However, the Pandemic happened and the world shut down. However, Summer 2020 the parties started. People were having private events and wanted a bartender. So that’s when I stepped into the realm of bartending my own private events. My first event I bartended a girls hotel party with a card table and my bar tools. Today, my team of bartenders are booked at least twice a month for milestone birthday parties, wedding, babyshowers and more.
Please tell us more about your brand, Harley Happy Hour
Harley Happy Hour provide bartending services on the go! We provides services at private events, host fun mixology/cocktail class (virtually/ and in-person), and set up drink displays for more intimate events. What we love most about our events is the customization and personalization. We talk to our clients and get to know them and their expectations and overdeliver every time. When planning my clients events nothing is spared and the personalization makes all the difference.
So, as we mentioned to our audience earlier, you were introduced to us by Breanna Powell and The Social Hive and we really admire them and what they’ve built. For folks who might not be as familiar, can you tell them a bit about your experience with The Social Hive.
Breanna is such a GEM! I found her through hashtags actually. I was looking for a relatable social media manager to help my business. Last year, I wanted to be more visible on Instagram with my personal and business profile. So I inquired of her services to help with both. I loved her profile aesthetics and her genuine follower count. And I always said, I wanted to work with someone who is doing the work themselves, to show me their techniques are working. Breanna shows up for herself on her Instagram profile which I admired.
I moved forward with her services of content creation. Im pretty good at creating my own however, I was looking for a creative push to get me consistent and just open to new ideas for content. The best thing I obtained from working with Breanna and The Social Hive was trust. My first deliverable blew my mind, Breanna really researched my market, community, and more and provide amazing content to post. She is the reason I started doing series of content! The more we worked together the more I trusted her recommendations. I had an increase in engagement and followers, but most importantly working with Breanna I had a boost of confidence of showing up for myself more on social media. I record myself more often, I engage with other pages organically, I am not afraid to get the content out.
Monthly we would have virtual meetings, where she would hype me up to go out and make that content. Now here I am using the methods I learned from The Social Hive creating my content fearlessly.
