Today we’d like to introduce you to Quadir Thomas.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I actually have a diploma in Hospitality marketing. I learned to have a certain vision and ability to manage other lead personalities from little league football and basketball as a head coach.
After 11 yrs of coaching, I picked up a camera and used my people skills to earn my way into working with many top fashion shows, art studios and elite events where I networked with folks that would eventually refer my photography services.
I’ve also been fortunate enough to work with a few local magazines to help develop their standard way of operating. From there I started, and executive produced my own podcast show, Molo In The City Podcast that Aire’s on our YouTube and Roku. We filmed 13 episodes for five seasons.
After the podcast ended in 2015, I focused on my photography brand and ended up shooting many fashion features, corporate shoots even celebrity magazine covers. One of the most impactful opportunities came when my work was printed in two 2017 British Vogue magazines.
In 2017, I started the “In The City Magazine” a bi-monthly art magazine that feature models, photographers, artist and business folks from across the U.S. We will be releasing our 3rd issue in January 2019. Our team of eight creative professionals are very proud of the work we put in this far. And we can barely contain our excitement about the New Year.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
For the most part, the road has been a smooth one. No struggle I couldn’t handle as of yet.

In The City Magazine is an art magazine based in Atlanta featuring anything in art, poetry, fashion, music, and lifestyle. We always want to work without ceilings.
We specialize in connecting the supplier to the buyer in the entertainment world. We are known for publishing more models than anyone in Atlanta per month.

What were you like growing up?
My personality was very adventurous yet strategic in ways. I was always the default leader of the gang.
