Meet Trish Upton of Atlanta Eye Candy in Roswell

Today we’d like to introduce you to Trish Upton.

Trish, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My background started as an executive in corporate staffing. I transitioned industries after a life long love of beauty and fashion. I quickly worked my way into owning several exclusive spas on the East Coast by the grace of God and using what I learned in the corporate environment to build a brand over the last 10 years.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has been a fun and rewarding road! I have learned a lot about what works for my staff, clients and personal development. My company expanded almost too quickly with the launch of group marketing. We weren’t prepared for the success of such a responsive campaign and had to realign our service offering to meet the demand of the clients while maintaining a smooth transition internally.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Atlanta Eye Candy – what should we know?
Atlanta Eye Candy boast a contemporary approach to the beauty and wellness industry. We specialize in semi-permanent eyelash extensions, anti-aging treatments as well as executive spa services. We are known for a very full and natural look in eyelash extensions, education, and total beauty consultants. We are delighted to be sought after within our 10 years of business. The natural abilities of our estheticians and master lash stylist sets us apart from others.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
There have been many people who have helped to support me and the building of our spa’s. My husband has been my biggest supporter giving up his career to help build mine. From designing the spas and treatment rooms to building the websites and scheduling appointments. He was there when my shoulders and back ached from leaning over and staring at tiny eyelashes, to learning how to take photos of my work. Along with family and friends, he has always encouraged me to succeed.
