Vincent, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I grew up working in a family furniture and mattress business. After almost two decades of working with most mass-produced brands like Tempurpedic and Sealy, I was unimpressed with their comfort and durability. I noticed a high percentage of mattresses sagged after a short period of time. I spent several years researching the highest quality mattress brands in the world. I found beds in Sweden, made by expert craftsmen with pure, natural materials like flax, horsehair, and cotton.
The brand, Hästens supplies the Royal Court with all of their beds and have been around for over 150 years! My search took me to California to find OMI Organic latex mattresses and Ohio where I found beds being handmade by Amish craftsmen. Then, I put together a showroom that met my strict guidelines of durability, comfort, support, and longevity. I knew from the outset that this would become Atlanta’s best mattress store because we would be offering the highest quality luxury and natural beds available.
Sleep is essential to wellbeing. I bought brands that understand sleep as an investment in health and wellness. Many of the beds in my showroom are handcrafted and come with 20-year warranties. These are beds that enhance human performance because they are meticulously designed to provide a supportive, comfortable and cool sleep experience.
Our store has the largest selection of high-quality beds in Atlanta. We can custom fit mattresses for each person and can order custom sized larger mattresses. We specialize in working with celebrities, athletes and interior designers but our beds are wonderful for everyone. We have mattresses for most budgets.
I also wanted to create an environment that would make clients feel welcome and relaxed and encourage them to take their time in selecting the best mattress for their needs. Many mattress stores push customers to buy right on the spot. I wanted to reduce that anxiety for clients since we look at sleep as a long-term investment in your health. We make it a priority for our clients to feel welcome as many times as needed before deciding.
Has it been a smooth road?
Luxury and organic mattresses make up a very small percentage of the mattress market but it is growing. Education is our biggest challenge. Most people don’t understand the health benefits of a high-quality bed. My wife was recently at the Global Wellness Summit and Dr. Oz was one of the presenters. He stood on stage to an audience of physicians, professors, investors, and wellness professionals and said, “Sleep is really, really, really important for wellness.” I think one of our challenges, but also an opportunity is to continue to educate people on the importance of high-quality sleep.

We have incredible customer service and professional approach to assisting our clients. Royalpedic once made a ten-foot mattress for basketball player Wilt Chamberlain.
All of our organic mattresses manufactures use GOTS certified cotton, GOLS certified latex, and natural flame barriers. We also build custom sized mattress for our athletes and tall clients. We also carry an array of certified organic kid’s mattresses, cribs and luxury accessories including down duvets, pillows, and linens.
What were you like growing up? Personality wise, interest wise, etc.
Mostly introverted and quiet. I was always interested in the anatomy and physiology and how the human body heals itself. I have always enjoyed helping people. I have always had an interest in individual competitor sports such as Wrestling, Boxing, BJJ and Martial Arts. I became a nationally licensed massage therapist for several years which helped me further my understanding on how to help the body repair.
