Today we’d like to introduce you to BreAnna Watson. Them and their team share their story with us below:
BreAnna Dante’ is a professional Image Consultant, Minister, Published Author, Entrepreneur and Mentor! She created Beauty is my Ministry in the spring of 2018 which helps young girls and women to discover their TRUE beauty. Before launching Beauty is my Ministry, BreAnna worked several years in customer service and sales while doing freelance work as an image consultant. Her love and passion for all things Fashion developed at a very early age! Humble beginnings began at The Illinois Art Institute of Chicago and she has since gained 10+ years of experience.
She then launched BreAnna Dante’ Ministries in the Spring of 2020 which encompasses all of who and what she is! BreAnna wrote and released her first book “From Molestation to Ministry; The Journey to Purpose” in May of 2018! She released the audio version of her book in September 2020! “Dealing With Your Healing” is her second publication!
Her vision is to inspire young women to identify and walk in their true beauty. It is her goal to lead by example and motivate them live with a heart like Christ. That is the ultimate beauty!
BreAnna is a member of The Movement Chi located on the west side of Chicago where her pastor is Bishop Tyree Beard. She serves on the praise team, the media team, the intercessory team and ministerial staff.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I would be lying if I said that this road has been easy because it has not! While I am extremely grateful that I’ve had an amazing childhood, I’ve faced some challenges navigating through my adulthood. From being raped my freshman year in college to struggling with depression, along with everyday life, to trying to figure out my God-given purpose, it has indeed been a journey! Even today, I am still navigating through my obstacles. Four years ago I lost my mother and so I had to learn how to live and keep going without her physically being present! Life is a continual journey. Even with our obstacles and challenges. But I’m grateful that God gives me the strength to overcome and keep pushing!
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
This is such a loaded question as I wear so many hats! I am a professional Image Consultant! So that means I work with individuals and help them improve the overall image of a client through appearance. So while I provide wardrobe styling, my overall objective is to create a strategic plan that incorporates a client’s wardrobe, makeup, and accessories to insure their image is consistent with their personal goals! God has not only given me a creative mind but he has also blessed my hands to be pretty good with whatever I touch! I am also a self-taught hairstylist and MUA! I can literally put a look together from head to toe!!
And while fashion is one of my passions, I also operate in other areas! I am a published author of 2 books! One being “From Molestation to Ministry. The Journey to Purpose” and my second, “Dealing With Your Healing”. I am also a minister of the Gospel and a Mentor! So as you can see, I wear many hats and I’m blessed to operate in them all effectively!
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
My prayer is that I can make a lasting impact on the world not just through changes in physical appearance but on the inside of a person as well. I’ve learned that taking care of yourself doesn’t stop at your outside appearance but taking care of your mind, your emotions, your spirit, etc. is just as important! They go hand in hand. Looking good on the outside means nothing if you don’t feel good on the inside. So my plan and purpose is to incorporate all of my gifts and talents to help others look good and feel good in hopes that they would in turn discover their own purpose on this earth!
