Today we’d like to introduce you to Devonte Walker.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve been doing photography for six years now and have grown to a point where I travel all over America. This year alone I’ve been to 5 different states do to photography. I contribute the boost success to finally launching my website www.dreamshotimagesllc.com I’ve been working on for 3 years. It’s allowed me to reach further than my local area. Now I’m looking to gain more business and notoriety for my art.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has not been smooth in the slightest. I still have struggles today. Some of those obstacles along the way included, making connections, learning un-obtain skills and getting people to trust your work.

I’m a professional photographer of 7 years. I specialize in portrait photography and I believe what sets me apart is I’m very focused on apart from the photos, I want the experience of the client to be great as well. I love for people to feel good during the process of taking photos and not just feel good when they get the pictures.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Honestly, I haven’t taken any super major risk as of today in my opinion, but everyday I consider quitting my part-time job to pursue photography 100% full time. We’ll see though lol
