Today we’d like to introduce you to Erin Lofton.
Hi Erin, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I initially started my business as a planning service back in 2019. Shortly after, COVID hit and I was not too sure about the Travel Market. I took some time off to focus on my main career, School Counseling. Some time passed, and over summer 2021 the idea was rebirthed- but this time something bigger. I decided to take a leap of faith and jump back into the travel industry with more than a planning service and become a full-service travel agency. I now have mentees under me who are on the path to successful travel businesses as well!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a super smooth road but it also has not been a super struggle for me. I feel as though I have always had a niche for planning trips and a passion. When you put those together, other people see it too and want to support! Struggles along the way have included getting the business going and a lot of behind the scenes a lot of people do not get to see!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My specialty is in the Middle East, Caribbean, and international travel in general. I also specialize in booking Girls Trips, Group Trips, and Baecations! I am most proud of the reaction others have to my business and how quickly it has grown! What sets me apart from others is the amount of options and flexibility my clients have for planning packages. I have something for any occasion whether that is planning & booking hotel only, hotel and flight, or a bundled express planning package!
