Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I first started doing hair in Columbus Georgia when I was 16 in high school as I watch my auntie do hair. I washed and shampooed for her and picked up the trade. I graduated high school in 2013, went to college and after that got my CDL’s and started to drive trucks in 2018. I was missing my family so I quit and started to pursue hair full-time back in Columbus Ga in 2019. At that moment I knew this was my passion. I literally did hair every day building my brand, networking and investing in my craft. I moved to ATL in 2021. Since I have been here I worked Monica, Kandi, Tiny, Garcelle, Drew Sirdora, etc. Growing and building my brand and my as name Laced By Vonte

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely learned some life lessons and realized I can’t bring everyone with me on this journey. elevation means separation. I had a lot of long days but my hard work continues to pay off.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?

The thing I love most about what I do is Making Women feel confident, beautiful and happy. I give experiences and I love what God Blessed me to do.

What were you like growing up?
I’m so thankful for my Mother for guiding me and pushing me to do better and want more out of life. I was always the goofy cousin/friend. I definitely outgoing and loved to be creative and dance.
