Check Out Nesta Davis’s Story

I was lucky enough to grow up in the 90’s when the hip hop culture took off. The vibe I saw growing up in New York was unmatched . By the age of 8 I knew exactly what I wanted to do when I got older. Literally , ever since I was little nothing in life struck my interest more than sports & business. My whole life I used to always tell people I was going to be a millionaire. Haha.. Fast forward to 2022. I am 33 years old & I have multiple businesses including a Licensed Cannabis Farm & Manufacturer , Entertainment / Published Media Company , Custom Appeal Company & a non-profit which provides jobs for young adults. I can honestly say I take pride in being involved in my community. In fact, I have been volunteering since I was 15 years old.

For the last seven years I also helped manage/run successful celebrity tours and festivals.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
No! My journey was extremely hard. I used to be a troubled teen when I was younger. I almost lost my life many times due to street violence.  In fact, I even went to jail at a young age. Shortly after going to jail I decided to change my life around with the help of my mentor Carl Hicks.

Where I came from I’m the first person to make it out. I’m the first person ever that gave my people hope. It was extremely important for me to change my life around & lead my community by example.

I would say I am a survivor which helps me be the best person I can honestly be especially in business! It gives me that determination & hunger that allows me to become humble & successful in life.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?

I have two.

1. I would definitely say my sports accomplishments. I played softball & basketball my whole life. By the time I was in high school I became the greatest softball & basketball player in my state / school history. Soon I will be in my school Hall of Fame. Which I am very proud of.

2. Starting my first business at the age of 10. It was selling candy on the school bus and at school. I can honestly say I was born to be my own boss.
