Today we’d like to introduce you to Amber Broder.
Hi Amber, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have always been passionate about social media and storytelling, but I went to school to study international affairs. A series of experiences – from starting a skincare blog & Instagram that allowed me to work with brands I had on my bathroom shelf, to a year-long communications fellowship, to a marketing internship at a startup skincare brand – made me realize that I wanted a career path that allowed me to pursue my passion for social media and content creation. So during my junior year of college, about a year into the pandemic, I started ABC Social Media Management as I stayed at home and completed my university classes online. Since starting, I’ve worked with over 30 businesses from actresses to skincare brands to career coaches and interior designers. Today ABC Social Media Management primarily works with interior designers, air bnbs and other online service providers.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not! One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced as a business owner is constantly pushing myself to learn more and improve my skills for my clients’ benefit – as social media is always changing and evolving, I’m never done learning. I pride myself on the efforts I make to further my education and stay on top of industry trends and updates so my clients’ strategies are the most effective they can be.

We are a social media management company offering full-service Instagram + FB management as well as done-with-you strategy services. We focus on supporting interior designers, airbnbs, and related business in the home decor and STR space. Additionally, I’m proud to serve other online service providers in elevating their Instagram strategy. What makes ABC Social Media Management different is that I truly live and breathe social media – I’ve been on Instagram practically since the platform was launched, have seen all the updates (and lived to tell the tale!), and genuinely enjoy the art of creating content and building communities.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
To lean on your network. The friends I’ve made through my business – from fellow social media managers to clients turned friends to my business mentor who has supported me since day 1 – have seen me through the wins and the low moments. Having fellow entrepreneurs who get it is what makes it possible to see the forest for the trees.
