Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Edwards.
Hi Brittany, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I have always had an eye and passion for photography. I started getting more into the art during my freshman year of high school. I was a shy kid and I barely knew anyone. Photography is one of the things that I use to put myself out there and it is my way of showing people the real me.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
First starting off it was a bumpy road. I had no clue where to start or what to do. I had to purchase most things on my on. But once I learned all of the techniques, it was smooth sailing.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
BrittCreations LLC is a black-owned business that was started because of the many creative things that we offer. We offer photography, event hosting, editing (photos, videos, flyers, and logos) merchandise, gift items, drinks and many other things soon to come. BrittCreations is a brand that offers passion along with the hard work and dedication that it took to establish it. I am most proud to say that BrittCreations is a dream that will continue to flourish and expand.
We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
The Covid-19 Crisis has definitely took me many things. Most importantly, I learned that when things are tough most people tend to give up. But the fact that I work long days and nights to make sure BrittCreations did not get affected by to crisis. The brand is my pride and joy.
