Community Highlights: Meet Samantha Warwick of A Touch Of Glory

Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Warwick.

Hi Samantha, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started making Just Body Butter in 2019. One day I was at home thinking to myself, “What can I do to help improve skin softness and hydration?” My love for super soft skin is what inspired my passion for creating a product that could be used to both moisturize our body and condition our hair. That question led to the birth of my business, “A Touch Of Glory “. It’s a God-given name that was placed in my spirit and I say that with honor and humility. I am the mother of three daughters and a son. We all have different hair textures and I wanted to create a product each of us could use that didn’t contain any alcohol-based ingredients or synthetic additives and chemicals that are known to stunt hair growth and interrupt the hair’s ability to retain moisture. My formula works perfectly for many hair types, from the tightest coily strands and looser curl patterns to relaxed and natural states of hair.

My product does not make the hair too stiff or oily and leaves your skin feeling revitalized with a nice glow. The products used are all-natural. I believe in using ingredients of the earth in their purest form. I started out making only body butter, which is good for dark spots, eczema, anti-wrinkles, blemishes, dry skin, psoriasis, minor skin burns and more. Since then, I’ve produced hair butter, hair growth oil, hand cream, face and lip exfoliate, lip balm, and essential oil candles. The 100% pure Shea and Mango body butters also include essential oils, if requested.”

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Smooth is a word I would not choose to use on this journey. It has definitely had its ups and downs. Setting the foundation of A Touch Of Glory was definitely an obstacle within itself. Once I decided to branch out on the entrepreneurial side, I realized that my brand was much bigger than me. I then had to consider others and the many different types of skin and hair textures out there. I dedicated time to researching different skin types and skin diseases. I definitely wanted to make sure I was creating something that would benefit people of all ages.

Some other obstacles were finances. Preparing a great creation gets costly. Ingredients for the products, packaging and labeling fees, and marketing and retailing were all financial obligations that needed to be met to keep A Touch of Glory prospering. Presentation plays an important role. Marketing, sales, and profits can be frenetic in the beginning, but my passion didn’t allow me to quit. Networking and being surrounded by the right people has definitely helped me on this journey towards building my business. Although I went through some trials and errors, I never gave up on myself or my passion.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I would like the people to know that A Touch Of Glory is a business built upon divine love, honor, and joy. I specialize in radiant, soft skin hydration and moisturizing hair conditioning. A Touch Of Glory is for every skin type and age and every hair texture. What sets me apart is me. There’s a certain standard I hold myself to. I set the atmosphere before preparing my creations. My working environment is important to me. I turned on my praise and worship music and began interceding for the beautiful people of this world. One thing I’ll never be is ashamed of nor deny my creator. He is definitely the reason A Touch Of Glory exists. A Touch Of Glory leaves the hair and body looking and feeling amazing. A Touch Of Glory offers body butters, hair butter, hair growth oil, hand cream, lip and face exfoliate, lip balm, and essential oil candles. The 100% pure Shea and Mango butter and the lip and face exfoliate also includes essential oils if requested. A Touch Of Glory is the best hand whipped body butter made with love and a little goes a long way.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
My advice to those who are just getting started is to never quit, never give up, and never give in. Remain confident in YOUR brand. Know the worth and value of your brand. Stay consistent and persistent. Be intentional and always believe in yourself and your brand. Work hard and trust the process. Great things come from small beginnings. Remember this “If you do what is easy, life will be hard, if you do what is hard, life will become easy.” ~Les Brown
