Community Highlights: Meet Sheana Fair of She Cooks3

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sheana Fair.

Sheana, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
She Cooks3 is a catering company that started at home in our very own kitchen and it sparked a need to provide comfort cooking straight from the soul. We pride ourselves on our ability to come into a client’s home and make their kitchen ours. We create meals that are healthy, unique, and served with a personal touch. Our recipes are inspired by the owner of SheCooks3’s grandmother who instilled the love of cooking in her at an early age. With this in mind, our food is exquisite, custom made and has a touch of home. Doing kitchen takeovers is our way of catering to our clients on a more personal level from their own space.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Nothing ever starts off smooth especially a business. It’s like being handed coal and sandpaper and being told to make diamonds. However, I can say sticking to it and acknowledging the pros and cons of your industry help make the process much smoother. There is always going to be a need to learn and research if you expect your business to continue growing in a world that’s always elevating.

We’ve been impressed with She Cooks3, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
SheCooks3 is striving to be a leader in the food and beverage industry for years to come. We are proud to be a woman-owned minority business with roots in the community where I was born and raised. I’m proud of our continuous growth, understanding and being okay with doing whatever it takes to make us better. I love that our clientele trusts us to bring our flair to every meal. She Cooks3 is travels – anywhere and takes over your kitchen!

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
Atlanta is dope. I Love the culture and the culinary scene. It’s always great coming into town to visit family and cook for clients but New York has my heart. I’m a NY girl to the apple core.
