Today we’d like to introduce you to Zeanobia Talley.
Hi Zeanobia, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I worked at Delta Airlines for 19 years and I was just content with being there. Even though it was a repetitive job, the people weren’t and I enjoyed people. Before COVID hit, I became burnout and tried different areas within Delta to see if that would help but it didn’t. I wanted to find something that I was passionate about. I needed something that allowed me to be engaging but not too engaging with customers. I got my lashes done for the first time and I enjoyed the experience. I decided to take a class, but the training I received wasn’t sufficient so I started researching more online. Once my class was over, I began practicing with my daughter, her cheerleader friends, and their mothers. I decided then, I wanted to start my own Lash business, which was a different area for me because I had never opened a business before. This was something that I felt very passionate about and I know I wanted to pursue it in full force. Despite the world being shut down, 2020 was my most successful year thus far. I made the decision in 2022 that I was unhappy at Delta Airlines and made the decision to leave after 20-plus years. The very thought of leaving gave me such anxiety because this was my stable income for the majority of my life, but I had to take a leap of faith and I decided to move on it.
I decided to expand my brand so I started taking classes at Touch By an Angel Cosmetology/Aesthetics Beauty School. Skincare has always been an interest of mine and the ultimate goal is for me to learn more so I can increase the services that I offered. Being a business owner has allowed me the freedom to find myself again and spend more time with the ones I love.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has not always been smooth. Having to transition from clocking into a 9-5 every day and working off of an appointment book was probably the hardest part of it all. Making sure that I am evolving in my business and ensuring that I am staying ahead of what the latest trends are is what’s really important.

What are you most proud brand wise?
Knowing where I started from and seeing where it has grown to today. It’s taught me more about business and how to hit the goals that I set for myself. Also, the fact that my kids have seen me through the full start to finish process and seeing me continual growth.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Riding in the RV with my family from Seattle, Washington to Anaheim, California for my birthday. We had so much fun just laughing and playing games in the RV with my cousins, but just being able to spend time together in a different way.
