Today we introduce you to Evangelist Tamike Brown.
Evangelist Tamike Brown, Founder and President of Outreach International Foundation Ministry, Tamike Brown Ministries, and Salvation With Fire Radio Broadcast via the Glory Network.
Evangelist Brown received the call of God for her life in the year of 2000 to evangelize the world and her God given message to the world is Salvation With Fire! She is determined to fulfill her God given “Destiny” for her life in “Changing Nations for the Glory of God”.
The journey started when she began to reach out to women in the Douglas County Jail Center, Washington State Prison, Atlanta Union Mission, and other Shelters throughout Metro Atlanta. She then moved on to receive what she called “boot camp training” through World Changers Outreach Ministry under the leadership of Dr. Creflo and Taffi Dollar. There she served as the Asst. Director over the Soul Winning Outreach Ministry, and received training through WCCI Prison Ministry. Although she received in-depth street ministry training through World Changers Ministry, but her first initial training was taught by God Himself as she was led by the Holy Spirit to reach out to citizens throughout Midtown Atlanta GA area to include Piedmont Park, giving them gospel tracts, going door to door, and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ back in 2000. The Uniqueness of this three full days journey of witnessing in the area is that God allowed only her 4 month old son Joshua Brown (at the time) to accompany her during the journey.
She also served in the children ministry, and as a prayer counselor at WCCI. Then led by the spirit of God in 2008 she continued her training at the Covenant Church of Jesus Christ for three years under the leadership of Overseer Angela Pitts and Pastor Brandon Pitts. There God placed her as President over the soul winning street ministry, prison ministry (to include Youth Develop Center YDC of Macon, GA), outreach events, altar call counselor, trainer, evangelism workshops, and recruiter that would take her into the next phase of God’s calling for her life.
In 2017, she began another chapter in her life. Her Spiritual Eyes was open to a greater revelation to see the vision God had shown and said to her nearly twenty years ago. God begins to do a new thing in her life and ministry as the Fire of God begin to intensify in her heart to reach the souls with compassion and love.
Evangelist Brown continues to win souls in her hometown Cordele GA, and Atlanta GA by using the prayer station as a method to reaching out to the souls on a regular basis. She also hosts community fish fry events in two locations at this time (Cordele GA and Atlanta GA). She host the Women War Room Prayer Conferences, Salvation With Fire Radio Broadcast, and her first Salvation with Fire Conference was held in 2014 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church which is also her home church she grew up in. Evangelist Tamike Brown will host and speak at her first Open Air Crusade Event to break ground in her hometown September 22, 2018.
She has ministered to women, men, and youth of all ages from all walks of life National and International through street ministry, outreach events, speaking engagements, crusade events, prison ministry, street ministry, conferences, and other media resources. She is a Powerful Prayer Warrior and Intercessor and enjoys her time in the presence of the Lord! Being in the Will of God for her life has been a greatest joy! Evangelist Brown says “the miracle begins when you put your foot in the Jordan”.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
In the beginning, the journey can be very difficult and challenging because God will allow your family members to be your “fire test” which will eventually push you into your calling. The fire test is not to bring hate or anger but to build your character in order do the greater work for the Kingdom of God as you walk in a spirit of humility while full of the Spirit of God and on Fire for God. Through it all, your faith has to remain unshakable while in the Fire! And that comes by way of staying in the Presence of God through reading the word of God, praise, worship, fasting, and praying. Very important to live a consecrated life unto the Lord.
What should we know about Outreach International Foundation Ministry and Tamike Brown Ministries? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
And what set me apart from others. My heart burns for the things of God. My heart burns to help God’s people by reaching out to bring them into the Kingdom of God using whatever method possible the Lord will allow me to use as I’m led by the Holy Spirit. And one of the things the Lord told me is to preach out of passion for the souls. Preach as though I see the people coming into the Kingdom of God. So sometimes, when I’m preaching or teaching so hard I’m preaching and teaching out of love and compassion for the souls! It’s rooted!
Do you have any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general? What has worked well for you?
I’ve had a couple mentors in the past and etc., but what really worked well for me is when I allowed Jesus Christ Himself to be my greatest mentor. I would study the four books of the gospel very intently to see how Christ would do and say things, how He handle the persecutions, His character, His zeal for the things of God, His compassion and love for the people, and so forth. In addition, I allow the Holy Spirit to be my guide and teacher. Not to say, I can’t receive advice from someone, because I have and continue to learn a lot through great men and women of God. However, I cannot go wrong when Jesus Christ is the head pilot.
