Today we’d like to introduce you to Kamshuka Barrocks.

Kamshuka is an award-winning entrepreneur, Author, international speaker, healer, certified life coach. Recognized as one of Canada’s Women making History on CBC’s Up Close & Personal.

Inspired, elevated & deep conversations surround her forums to disrupt patterns, change mindsets & bring out the magic and warrior within you. A war child survivor of the Ugandan Civil War, she has overcome many obstacles including mental illness, PTSD, sexual abuse, and life’s circumstances. In 2016 Kamshuka was recognized by Uganda on the national network of NTV as an Empowered Woman of Power. Her passion to bring healing as she heals is driven by her story: an unconventional artist expressing her thoughts and interpreting life through her expression of art in the form of storytelling, photography, and writing.

An advocate against human trafficking, who spent time in the city of Calcutta, India, to rescue woman & young girls sold into sex slavery. Empowering men & women to tap into their inner healing powers & activate the highest level of self-love. Her motivational talks have created uplifting presentations on self-confidence, perseverance, faith and our mental attitudes, challenging her audience to live fearlessly by living each day fearless. This is Kamshuka, mother of four otherwise known as The Warrior Queen.

I was referred by Tanisha Mackin the publisher. I am one of the co-authors of “GirPower Uncensored.“ I reside in Toronto, Canada currently.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Never been a smooth road. It’s bumpy and has a lot of rocks. Take each climb with stride. Don’t give up. It gets better.

Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I am a healer and speaker. Using my story as a war child survivor I tackle healing from PTSD, depression, and anxiety. I have programs I run around the world enabling each person to ignite and awaken the warrior within. Leave that victim section of your life and move into warrior mode.

It would be great to hear about any apps, books, podcasts or other resources that you’ve used and would recommend to others.
Fave podcast is Behind the Brillience.
Fav book other than the one I wrote is “Shook.”
