Today we’d like to introduce you to Megan Macpherson.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I began my business in February 2017 after I was laid off from my corporate job. It initially started with me sharing Vaginal Steaming as a service within my local community and using social media to promote and advertise. I then created a product line and began educating people on how to utilize this healing modality on their own at home. I have grown my business to 600% in earnings and growing. I have also launched a Personal Development Program called The Transformation Period as I realized through my intimate work with women that we are in need or developing our minds and perspectives.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
There were definitely struggles along the way, but the things that really worked for me seemed to flow smoothly. I think it’s very important to listen to your intuition and if something is TOO hard then alternate paths should be considered. My business was originally named The Honey Pot and I was served copyright infringement papers for another feminine wellness company with the same name. I then changed my name to Yes God Wellness as it was always a statement I said and was known for. Sometimes you have to look at what seems to be a restriction and find the opportunity in it.
So, let’s switch gears a bit and go into Yes God Wellness story. Tell us more about the business.
We are a holistic health company specializing in womb health. We focus on the mind, body and spirit connection and have really produced some amazing results for clients who have used our products and services. We have received several testimonies of women who overcame fibroids, infertility and even depression. We are very proud to make such a positive impact on the global community and of our growth in a relatively short time period. What sets us apart is our authenticity and genuine concern for health on all levels. Mindset is the first priority in terms of healing.
Looking back on your childhood, what experiences do you feel played an important role in shaping the person you grew up to be?
Yes. I was raised in a lower income home, which built a very strong work ethic and determination to succeed. Because things did not come easy, I learned how to persevere. Ironically, that same association to “grind” is now something I am moving away from. When I am in alignment with divine source, grinding is unnecessary. Things just flow and fall into place almost effortlessly. It’s smarter to get guidance before taking action versus taking action and then making corrections later because it wasn’t divinely propelled.
