Conversations with Jeremy Perry

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremy Perry.

Hi Jeremy, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started out with a thought and a dream. I knew I always wanted to connect people with valuable products and knowledge and inspire them simultaneously so I decided to start doing it by way of clothing and apparel that meant something. We were experiencing a pandemic when I started Purple Zombiee. The world literally was clashing with terror and fear of the unknown of a pandemic that could swipe our nation clean on top of going through some of the most racial profile experiences; we were something like living zombies feeding off one another. So this positive entity was created who absorbed negative energy eats it and retracts it back into the community as positive gushes of fresh air. I launched in Camilla, Georgia but within the first year, we were able to attract a few zombies from all over including one international Canadian zombie all thanks to the most high. My auntie lives in Union City Georgia where I plan to soon zombify and I am Jeremy Perry aka JPthazombiee who pledged the great Omega Psi Phi from the Illustrious Savannah State University my Alma Mater. I am a small-town country boy with large dreams. I graduated college last year in 2021 from SSU with a Masters of Public Administration as I continue to climb higher heights, I currently manage a small retail business and help support the family as I plan to pursue more studies in digital marketing and fashion design. One last thing, this was an honor and I definitely support Voyage 100% and appreciate the exposure you give to us little people thank you and to everyone in the past and future for the support of PZ this is only the beginning.

Thanks so much for those kind words. So, let’s move on to challenges you’ve had to overcome. Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Some struggles I previously sometimes currently deal with are procrastination, second-guessing and networking with familiar and similar business communities for more network. I’m getting better as I’m starting to focus and read more.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Yes for work I work with The Department of Human Services and I’m a social worker specializing in family preservations… I am most proud of my own family for growing as a whole and the life God has given us. What sets me apart from others is that I am very humbled and will go the extra mile to ensure a positive environment. I also don’t mind helping others and want to see everyone win.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
I give thanks to my Mom who consistently shows support and encourages me daily Shelly and my brother Jeffery for being my support system.
