Hi Lynn, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Sometimes I sit back & I’m amazed how my story started in a small town called Electric Mills. I’ve always known how to cook thanks to my dad, my mom, & my grandmother. However, it wasn’t until my supervisor at work brought up the idea of me catering one of our team meetings that I actually saw how happy I could make people with my food. That opened a new avenue for me. I started catering small events & my clientele grew simply by word of mouth at first. Being myself & promoting myself everywhere I go has opened many doors for me. Also, going viral a few times have helped as well, lol. I honestly am in love with the art of food & how it can bring families, friends, co-workers, just people in general closer.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I wouldn’t necessarily say the road has been smooth or hard. Have there been trials? Of course. I believe it’s how you view things. I view trials as curve balls being thrown that require me to maybe think a little more. I always try to see the positive in a situation, no matter how uncomfortable I’ve been. Every day I wake up knowing I can’t give up. So good day or challenging day, I gotta keep going. So to me, it’s another day I get to figure out how to make things better.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I provide services in all things food! From catering services to private dining & meal preps. I enjoy creating an amazing experience for my clients who book me. What sets me apart from others? I never try to be anyone but myself. From the vibes I give when I step inside a home to the plate I create that will amaze your palate, I’m simply doing me. I don’t attempt to eat off anyone’s plate, I’m a chef… I create my own.
How do you think about happiness?
Life! Life makes me so happy! I’m grateful for every single day I’m blessed with. Being able to be a part of families most important events, helping them create memories, sharing love & happiness through my food truly brings me happiness.
