Conversations with Sabrina Hall

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sabrina Hall.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I became interested in making soap because of my oldest daughter. She has eczema and would have outbreaks in her face and other parts of her body. Store-bought soap would only dry out her skin and make her irritated. I began to research different products to treat eczema and I came across a Youtube video of a woman who had a similar story and started making soap. I did further research on the soap-making process and various ingredients. I began to make soap for my family and began to see a difference in my daughter’s skin. I started making soap for close family and friends and the feedback I got was amazing. I then began to get ideas about my business. I prayed about it and God gave me confirmation. Everything from the name to the logo and branding, it all came from God. God has been with me throughout this whole process and He has been leading me every step of the way. Since my business launched in January 2021, the blessings have been overflowing. The testimonials from customers who have experienced my products have been mind-blowing. I take much pride in the presentation of my product, my packaging and my business. I strive to consistently provide nothing but the best to my customers and potential customers. It has been one year since we launched and I am looking forward to bigger and better things in the future.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Things have definitely not been completely smooth when getting started. We have had some struggles along the way. Such as, finding consistent supply vendors, delayed shipments of supplies, and inventory updates. Despite these struggles we have faced, we have been able to always overcome them without compromising our product and customer service. It’s a learning process. Everything we have been through is only making us stronger and making us more prepared for what’s to come.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Luxe Body Bar is a beauty and soap business offering a variety of soaps for different skin types. We also offer a variety of scented body butter and bath accessories. All of our products are all-natural and are made with all-natural ingredients. Along with having moisturizing and cleansing properties, we also have soap for skin conditions such as acne, eczema, hyperpigmentation and sensitive skin. We also offer products for men, women and children. Our best sellers include Oatmeal Milk & Honey (great for those with dry skin and eczema) and the Glow Bar. The Glow bar is made with turmeric and cinnamon and has a honey vanilla scent. It’s perfect for those with acne, hyperpigmentation, dark marks and scars. We have had some amazing reviews about our Glow Bar. One in particular from an individual recovering from cancer, who had scars from their treatments. They said our Glow Bar got rid of their scars and they are beginning to love their skin again.

This is what we wanted, We didn’t just want to be another soap business, we wanted to have a product that can help change people’s lives and help people fall in love with their skin again.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I actually do not believe in luck. I believe that everything I have and have done has been pre-ordained by God. I consult God in all of my decisions concerning this business and he has not failed me yet. So I don’t consider myself lucky or anything happening because of luck I just believe that I am blessed and favored by God and I plan to continue to let him lead me.
