Hi Sahias, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
In March of 2019, I started NEM Magical Massage & Meditation, an alternative healing company. At that time I was rebounding from my freight brokerage company going out of business and I had only planned to utilize my martial arts-based knowledge of the human body and the spiritual knowledge of the body I picked up from different religions and Shamanism to create my own type of massage to bring in a temporary income.
I was an unknown. People had never heard of me or my healing modality! I would go to events like Juneteeth to directly market my services. I did my version of massage, which is now called Esolé Therapy, for $1 per minute at these events, passed out my flyers and offered “complimentary” sessions at my studio in order to pull clients in, prove the high-quality nature of my services and get word of mouth going.
I was operating at 600 Bronner Bros Way SW, Atlanta, GA 30310 out of a co-working space called Relay Shop now called Ecomspaces. People started talking alright and my business started to pick up. Many people were actually having phenomenal healing experiences recovering from a wide range of different physical and spiritual ailments! I was able to survive the pandemic because my services are that good. I achieved a 5.0 rating on Google, Yelp and Facebook. I have appeared on TV multiple times having been invited to speak about myself and the services that my company, NEM Magical Massage & Meditation, provides to the public. I have been interviewed on the tv shows “Life in The ATL” and “Create. Build. Manage.” I have been interviewed by Jill Nicolini on “Meet The Elite” on Podcast Business News Network 3 times.
I am feeling truly accomplished being that I created a sustainable income from what comes natural to me and what came through me from spirit. I am happy but not done. I am writing a book about my story and healing modality, Esolé Therapy, and I am looking to train people to be Esolé Therapists and provide employment for people all over.
I am passionate about my business and I am dedicated to sharing my knowledge with the world!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been a smooth and rocky road. In the beginning, I was faced with the challenge of getting people to take a chance on my services since I had no official training as a “massage therapist” and I was offering something that “I just came up with.” Getting people to trust me was a challenge that I overcame by offering my services at discounts. People were willing to try Esolé Therapy because the prices were discounted and affordable and my claims of what I could do made it irresistible. I have since then charged the prices I originally intended to charge. I had to prove myself first.
Of course, it was rough during the pandemic. I had about 2 full months with absolutely no clients booking. But then, I guess the stress people were under drove them to see relief and I made myself available and things picked back up a bit.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I created Esolé Therapy to help people heal their bodies and minds. In an Esolé Therapy session, I stretch the client’s whole body, massage the client’s whole body and refresh the client’s body’s energy system with what I call hot hand & hot fingertip therapy. I offer guided meditation as a stand-alone service and I offer Esole Therapy with Guided Meditation. No one is offering what I offer. Where else can you get a stretching session, a whole body massage, energy work and guided meditation all at once?

I am open to franchising what I do. People can pay for Esolé Therapy Training and can become contractors working for NEM Magical Massage & Meditation. Also, I am open to taking on investors to scale my business model. exponentially.
