Today we’d like to introduce you to Sean Bishop.

Hi Sean, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I spent my entire career in corporate marketing. During the pandemic, I was laid off. I took some time to re-evaluate my career and life goals and what I wanted to do moving forward. I made the decision to not go back into the corporate world and take control of my career. That led to looking at franchise investment research and eventually The Atlantic Grill opportunity.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
As a rookie restaurant operator, it has been a learning journey. I like so many of my restaurant counterparts have found the labor shortage and supply chain issues very challenging. On top of that, I am continuing to learn how to run a restaurant/bar.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
As I said it the above question, I have spent my career in corporate marketing roles. Working for large companies like Pepsi cola, Dannon/Suntory, RJ Reynolds and Georgia Pacific. Getting laid off during the pandemic made me take a step back and re-evaluate my career and life goals. I wanted to take charge of my career and know that whatever success or failure I have is mine alone. That led me to want to own/operate my own business and be an entrepreneur. I spent six months researching and doing due diligence in many opportunities before I landed on buying The Atlantic Grill.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My husband and business partner by far is my biggest supporter and advocate.
