Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Shepard.
Hi Ashley, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Growing up I use to play dress-up when I was In the mirror which got me into fashion & modeling. With me wanting to model I was scared because of my of speech problem knowing I would have to talk to different people like photographers, and designers push me harder to work on my speech problems. I started doing fashion shows and taking different pictures so that my name could get on the model scene. I ran for Atlanta’s hottest female model and won.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it has not been a smooth road I had to deal with my speech problem and also get my name out to everyone on the model scene.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
When I’m not doing fashion shows or taking new photos I work for the school system dealing with special needs children on the school bus. What sets me apart from others is that I was not scared to step out into the model world even with my speech issues. I’m most proud of becoming Atl hottest model.
