Daily Inspiration: Meet Gabrielle Kilgore

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabrielle Kilgore.

Hi Gabrielle, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started my business in 2020. I finally had enough time to focus and create, which is what I truly love doing. KLG (pronounced like an acronym) is a combination of letters from my last name. I wanted my brand to be personalized but also catchy. I love creating intimate wear because it’s the first thing we put on and last item we take off. To create items that make me customers feel comfortable and sexy is the true goal.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
KLG has been going a year strong in creativity and support. I have to say, it has its setbacks but for me mentally, create when you’re passionate about something. Then you’ll see the difference in your business.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I sew unisex undergarments or loungewear. I love creating and seeing what other people can layer or put with my garments. I specialize in underwear and non-wire bra-making. I’m known for my creativity and how I can create a story with the pieces I create. I am mostly proud of the growth I see in myself and how I take my time to give my products purpose. What sets me apart from others is my passion, the way I create, how my skill and products continue to improve over time. I create for those who can’t and inspire those who need a push! I can literally look back at my work and say “wow” and see the difference of how far I have come.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
TAKE YOUR TIME.
