

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kerry Swetmon.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started my business in 2010. I was participating in a mastermind with a few thousand women entrepreneurs and I felt very strongly that so many of them had these amazing missions that genuinely brought GOOD to the world. Yet, they were having trouble getting their message out beyond their local arena. I kept thinking if there were a way for them to reach more people, they could help that many more people and it would be a win-win. So, I started out offering many different kinds of marketing services from press releases to social media postings to blogging. In 2011 I ran my first Facebook ad and it worked so incredibly well, it quickly became the only service we offered.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Sure, there have been lots of struggles as I’ve grown my business. However, the more I grow and the older I get, I can see that those “struggles” were really just lessons and a necessary part of my business evolution. When I get to the top of one mountain, the next one appears on the horizon. The journey is where growth happens; there’s no avoiding it 🙂
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We are digital advertisers. We mainly focus on the Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Tik Tok platforms. For the last 11 years, my business has solely run on word-of-mouth referrals. That’s something I’m both very serious about and super grateful for. Something that sets us apart is our professionalism. We pride ourselves on being highly communicative and very personable. Our clients feel like friends and most have been with us for more than 3. years. We won’t ever disappear, we won’t ever ignore clients’ emails; our goal is for our clients to feel as though we’re part of their team.
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
Sure! Get into the habit of asking yourself, “does this support the life I’m trying to create?” There are shiny things everywhere for entrepreneurs. Say “no” to the add-ons (in life or business) that don’t serve the life you’re creating.
