Hi Rene, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Ok I started being a comic when I was little I was always bullied and I got tired and started roasting people one particular time in 3rd grade this used to bully me at lunchtime so bad one day I blurted out them delmonte peas is jumping off yo head with parachutes u old click clack head rat he busted out hollering and screaming like I did something to him all his cousins ran over there and threatened me then after school they chased me home and jumped me after I woke up I knew this was my life and I needed security but I was very shy. I took me years to become who I am now I have opened for Gospel legend Vickie Winans Shang Forbes and Hope Flood I have been on Judge Mathis I have been beat down broken and stomped on but I’m still here I was doin comedy shows but I thought something was wrong with me because sometime the comics didn’t do 2 good after me and I thought it was me they would then kick me off shows because they thought I was doin too much I was heartbroken so I got on the internet to feel better and to do my comedy I went viral all over the world my last video got 5 million views in 2 days the only thing is I’m never paid for my content cause they said my image violates they platforms but everyone shares my content and they are able to benefit it hurts me so bad and some days I wanna jump in this river by my house and disappear but God hugs me and tells me to hold on cause one day somebody gone love me and appreciate me for who I am I won a contest on July 16 and it was the best day of 2022 and I might have mananagment so I’m blessed.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The challenges are no bookings and me going viral with nothing to show for it and getting over how much I’ve been dogged out, dragged, ridiculed and capitalized off a famous person right now is stealing my content and making money off it; no internet will verify me because they didn’t like my image it hurts me soooo bad like sometimes I wanna give up I have been viral since 2012 but they say I’m not worthy enough to be there, BUT MY GOD SAYS WHATS FOR ME IS FOR ME SO HE LOVES ME AND DONT EABT ME TO GIVE UP.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Ima comedian and actress and I love love love love making the world laugh. I wanna be able to go to Cancerclinics and make them forget about the pain and maybe they will just fight harder to live and come to my shows. I wanna volunteer at St Jude as a clown and make the kids happy I’m most proud that I can accomplish anything I want and I’m so patient I can be on a set for 14 hrs straight and smile the whole time cause I’m blessed to even be seen as an extra what sets me apart is I’m original I’m always reinventing myself I can come up with any jingles any sayings make up songs off the top of my head without even thinkin.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
My one child hold memory is when I used to smell my sister smoking weed and always talking bout a roach so we had a lot of roaches so I got one of my sisters ez wider paper and rolled up a roach and his antenna was hanging out and I had the lighter bout to light it my sister said you dumb as hell you can’t smoke no damn roach I said but you do she kicked my ass and started paying me in weed to roast her friends my childhood was ok baby.
