Inspiring Conversations with LaNise Thrasher of The Love Cheerleader®

Today we’d like to introduce you to LaNise Thrasher of The Love Cheerleader®.

Hi LaNise, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Ever since I was a child, I was a “Cheerleader of Love”! I loved all things, love for family and friends. I even became the “go to” for family and friends when they were experiencing relationship difficulties. I truly wanted everyone to have successful and healthy relationships.

Years later, I found myself going through a divorce after five years of marriage. I felt like the wind was knocked out of me. I was devastated and embarrassed. Nothing prepared me for this level of heartbreak.

After going through a massive healing journey, people started asking me to help them and I started helping others heal from heartbreak. As I was helping others, God showed me time and time that this was my assignment. After running from it for a few years, God sat me down after I got sick with shingles. It was at this moment that I was obedient to my assignment. A few months later, I officially started my business, The Love Cheerleader ®.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Smooth road?! What is that! Haha! Definitely was not a smooth road. I had to battle my own insecurities with making such a huge decision. I questioned so many things. I remember saying, “Are you sure?” when God directed me to start.

Once I said yes to God, everything started flowing like water. Every single thing that I didn’t think I had was staring me in the face once I started.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about The Love Cheerleader?
I am a Heartbreak Coach who teaches busy professionals to let go of the pain caused by divorce and past relationships so they can heal, live and most importantly love again! My motto is, “Inspiring others is my love language™.”

What sets me apart from the competition is that I have actually been through a divorce. I’ve experienced it first hand and the plethora of emotions that follows. I know what it is like to be happy one second and sad the next. I know what it is like to be vulnerable, learning how to trust again and ultimately learning who YOU are again.

I give my clients their permission slip to fully HEAL. As busy professionals, we are often so BUSY with other things that we do not make time to HEAL. I encourage making healing a priority so we do not bleed on others as a result of not healing.

I created a signature program called The P.A.U.S.E. Challenge™ where I strategically walk clients through my six-step healing process. I am a hands-on Coach and we work together to go from Heartbroken to Happy and Healed!

I am proud of the work that I do and the healing that others are able to obtain. I never take for granted that my clients are vulnerable in my presence.

The fact that individuals trust me with their hearts to help them is the most rewarding aspect of my job.

My heart beams when I receive an email from a client saying “Thank you for our session. That showed me an area that I was running from. I must confront the pain so I can fully heal.”

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned since starting my business is just start! You are the answer to someone’s prayer! That piece of information keeps me going every single day!
