Today we’d like to introduce you to Moses Carroll. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Moses Carroll was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and moved to Atlanta, Georgia to find a new direction in life. Moses has been in the healthcare industry for 25+ years with a natural progression from a sales representative to Club Management in his quest to learn the industry. Now, Moses is an entrepreneur, community advocate, and CEO of FitSquad Studios, Inc. in the heart of the historic Pittsburgh community. He is the founder of McHealthcare, Inc., a non-profit organization created to educate and create awareness for individuals living in underserved populated areas and small business operators that would like to establish a Wellness Program for their employees. He is also the creative director of Pole Dance America production. He created a format using gymnastics and theatrical performances to create competitions that are innovative, challenging and entertaining on tour across the United States.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
After some mental struggles with the passing of his grandfather and sister, Living in Atlanta with no family he had to cope with being emotionally damaged due to the death. Moses took an 18-month sabbatical which would be the catalyst to take his passion for fitness in a new direction. His goal is to create healthier communities providing better lifestyle choices where fast food restaurants are an unhealthy source of food options in our neighborhood. Lack of mental, intellectual, and environmental support in the community.
We’ve been impressed with MC Healthcare Inc., but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I have several projects lined up in 2023 to support economic development in Southwest Atlanta. The projects include the Pole Dance America television show, the development of a wellness center with a 200M indoor track and field training facility, and the continuous growth of the Fit23 Wellness Program within the Pittsburgh community (McDaniel district) of Atlanta.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
