Today we’d like to introduce you to TaffaTee Johnson.
Hi TaffaTee, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My passion for healthy skin and scalp began approximately 15 years ago in a small southern town located in Florida (Belle Glade). There my son was diagnosed with atopic dermatitis and after months of him using the topical ointment that was prescribed to him, I saw no improvement in his condition.
As a mother, the love I have for my children is indescribable. Therefore, I could not stand by and watch my son scratch his skin to the point where he would become swollen and bruised.
After much research, I got the idea that I could possibly heal his skin condition Naturally. So one day, I walked into my kitchen and began creating my own body butter in hopes that it would bring relief to his skin. At that time, I was not confident nor was I certain that my body butter would aid with his condition; but I had faith. And to my surprise within the first month of him using the body butter I created, I witnessed drastic improvement with his condition. His skin was now moisturized, healthy and free of bruises. This brought me joy!
Fast forward years later, I began to make natural goat milk soaps, organic deodorants (baking soda and aluminum-free), natural lotions, organic body scrubs, organic yoni steams and so much more.
If someone would’ve told me on the day that I created my first body butter out of love and concern that I would be CEO and Brand Ambassador of my own skincare cooperation, I wouldn’t have believed it.
Every day I wake up with joy, passion and desire to continue on the path of creating more of my natural and organic skincare essentials.
My overall goal is to help others that may suffer from skin conditions such as atomic dermatitis, psoriasis or even rosacea fall in love with their skin all over again. Skincare is my care! And all skin types are naturally beautiful.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I can honestly say that my journey on this path of entrepreneurship has not been an easy one. I have had to face many challenges and obstacles.
Some of those challenges and obstacles that I’ve encountered are effective marketing strategies, successful promoting, obtaining and retaining clientele and of course having the finances to successfully invest in my business.
But with my faith in Jesus, my loving family and my supportive friends; I have managed to triumph over those hurdles. Because of positive influences, I am better prepared and more equipped to overcome those stumbling blocks if they were to return in the near or far future.
Although I am an overcomer of Marketing, promoting, gaining clientele, and financial investing; I still have a hard time overcoming fear and self-doubt.
I fear that my business will not be as successful as I would like it to be and I will fail my children. Failing my children is not an option for me. Although they tell me every day how proud they are of me, the fear of disappointing them is still a challenge that I am working on overcoming. But with faith, hard work and dedication, I truly believe that fear and self-doubt will be a thing of the past.
We’ve been impressed with RoyalTee Naturals, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Royaltee Naturals was created out of love and passion for healthy skin and scalp. I specialize in creating skincare essentials that is organic and natural which means that my products do not contain parabens, aluminum, phthalate, polyethylene, formaldehyde or baking-soda.
Some of my products are made with goat milk, some with Shea butter, some with avocado, others with turmeric and herbs such as raspberry leaves, lavender, etc.
Brand wise, I am most proud of myself and my three sons because we are the face and living testament of my products. I am also proud of the fact that my products are not geared towards a specific gender, race or skin type. I hand-make natural and organic essentials for both sexes, every skin type and all races.
I am set apart because of my faith in God and my hungry for knowledge and wisdom; which is why this upcoming Summer, I will be studying to become a certified esthetician to enhance my skills.
I handcraft skincare products such as natural soaps, body butters, body scrubs, beard butters, beard oils, deodorants, vaginal steams, hair and scalp stimulating oils and sage. I also provide mobile services such as facials, feet detox, beard facials and vaginal steaming.
